The globally renowned Chinese brand AUX has officially started marketing its air conditioners in Bangladesh.
On Saturday, a grand launch event was held at the Ballroom of Hotel Sheraton in Banani, Dhaka, to mark this milestone.
It was revealed that Vista Electronics Limited manufactures AUX air conditioners in Bangladesh at their factory. As a sales partner, Vista will handle local sales while exporting the products to international markets, says a press release.
The event was attended by Vista Electronics Limited's Chairman, Shamsul Alam, Managing Director Lokman Hossain Akash, Director Uday Hakim, Director and actor Ilias Kanchan, Engineer Moinul Haque, high-ranking officials of AUX, including Uki Rong, Mis Cindy (Director of OBM overseas sales marketing), AUX's country manager (Bangladesh and Asia-Pacific) Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Over 500 top electronics retailers from across Bangladesh also participated.
AUX, a globally prominent air conditioner brand, exports to over 126 countries and operates 14 manufacturing facilities worldwide. The brand also has large research and development centers in Japan, Germany, Poland, Mexico, Thailand and China, ensuring top-notch quality with innovative designs, artificial intelligence (AI), and cutting-edge technology. Its products are rapidly gaining popularity in markets across America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Vista's manufacturing unit is located at the Kaliakoir Hi-Tech Park in Gazipur, Bangladesh. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was recently signed between Vista and AUX for joint production under the AUX brand. Vista's Chairman, Shamsul Alam, expressed pride in collaborating with AUX, emphasizing that this partnership signifies a major step for the Bangladeshi electronics industry. He highlighted AUX's global reputation for excellence and stated that the partnership will bring substantial foreign investment, technical expertise and employment opportunities to Bangladesh.
