One killed in Faridpur road accident

A man was killed and seven others were injured in a road accident at Majhkandi under Madhukhali upazila in Faridpud district on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Md Milon, 25, a resident of Tepakhali area of Faridpur Pourasabha.
The accident took place in the area around 1 pm when a passenger bus hit a construction vehicle, leaving bus helper Milon dead on the spot and injuring seven others, said Sub-Inspector (SI) of Karimpur Highway Police Station Samir Nandi.

The wounded were sent to Faridpur Medical College Hospital, the police official added.
