BNP on Sunday approved a 61-member convening committee for its Dhaka South City unit.
Rafiqul Alam Mojnu has been appointed as the convener of the Dhaka South City unit, while Tanvir Ahmed Robin has been named the member secretary, said a party press.
The 61-member convening committee comprises of 13 joint conveners and 46 members.
On July 7, BNP formed convening committees for its Dhaka South, North, Chattogram, and Barisal city units, setting a three-month deadline for the formation of full committees for each unit.
Mojnu and Tanvir earlier served as member secretary and joint convener respectively, of the BNP's Dhaka South City unit.
