BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman said on Sunday, "Some misguided party activists, separated from the people, must earn and maintain the trust and love of people through dedicated sertvice."
Speaking virtually at the workshop titled "31-Point State Structure Reform Proposal and Public Engagement," organised by the BNP Training Affairs Committee at the Barua Alauddin High School ground in the capital's Khilkhet he said, "Some leaders and workers of the party have become confused because they're engaging in some actions, not liked by the people."
Tarique said the main goal of BNP leaders and workers should be to gain the support, trust and confidence of the people. "If your goal is anything else, believe me, you will be knocked out of the party and lose the people's trust and public support in a short time."
He said every BNP leader and worker must focus on earning the people's trust, confidence, and love. "Everyone must work to gain the trust, respect, and support of the people. It is also your duty to maintain that trust, faith, and love through dedicated service."
He cautioned that if any political activist does anything other than serving the people, they will lost public support.
