Bomb blows off youth’s wrist in Munshiganj

A 13-year-old teenage boy lost his right wrist after in an an explosion at South Islampur in Munshiganj district town on Sunday.

The victim was identified as Sajib Mia, son of Raju Sheikh of Paikpara in Narayanganj district.

Sajib Dey, Inspector (investigation) of Sadar Police Station, said Sajib found a ball-like object from garbage in the area which exploded with a big bang, leaving him injured. —UNB
