DUCSU polls likely in early February 

 
Dhaka University (DU) Proctor Associate Prof Saifuddin Ahmed said on Sunday that the administration has plans to hold the DU Central Students' Union (DUCSU) polls at the end of January or in the beginning of February.

"We have already formed a committee consisting of specialists. The committee members are talking to different stakeholders. As soon as they submit their recommendations, the university administration will formulate a roadmap and fix a date for the DUCSU election," said the Proctor at a press briefing at his office in the afternoon.
He said, "We primarily have planned to hold the election at the end of January or in the beginning of February. We hope we'll get the report made by specialists soon."

After stagnation of at least 29 years, the last DUCSU election was held on March 11, 2019. The trend again dived into abyss of darkness since the following year.
