A global audience of millions is online on social media - be it on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat or TikTok. Are our traditional norms on the verge of disappearing in the name of digital literacy? How can a child handle awkward criticism for his/her online activities when he/she grows up?   What should be the duties of a responsible mother when they are practicing digital parenting which is called "Sharenting"?Sharenting is a term that combines "sharing" and "parenting." It refers to the practice of parents sharing information about their children on social media. This can include posting photos, videos, personal stories, and updates about a child's life. While it's often done with good intentions, it has faced negative consequences in the end.

In the case of sharing, some parents even become influencers, allowing them to monetize daily family activities. However, publishing photographs of youngsters online carries some danger. Oversharing can also have major long-term implications. If you believe you are casually sharing your child's life online... I'm here to inform you that you're mistaken. Recently, a child celebrity revealed her mental health issues by stating that she does not use her real name on social media because she is afraid that people will research her name one day. Perhaps a potential employer would search up her name and discover all her mother had put on social media.

Modern ideology pushespeople to become a celebrity and the consumers hanker after the fame and reaction. When people are fluttered and respected by this electronic popularity, they try to take it as a profession but things become unethical when they share the innocent face of an immature child. Nowadays parents utilize their devices while feeding their children.Sothey don't have faces bothering in terms of rearing their babies. As an adult, we face difficulties in avoiding the addiction of reels what if it is about consuming from childhood? The measurement of productivity relied on making videos and physical presentations instead of acquiring knowledge. When parents observe someone who is the same age as her/his child becomingpopular on social media, they drive into detrimental competition.

We don't deny the positive aspects of sharenting as Sharenting allows parents to share their children's milestones and achievements with family and friends, fostering a sense of community and support. Moreover, it can help children become familiar with digital platforms from a young age, potentially aiding their digital literacy skills. The negative sides are weighed up exponentially. We ignored the privacy and safety concerns, cyberbullying, online harassment, and long-term mental dejection. How mothers become manipulated. Simply we are consumers of adorable comments. There are plenty of comments on parents' posts that are just like "Oh you're a great mom!", "You're doing the best you can, Mama!"they are trying to get more and this is the real scenario of Bengali child content. Though my focus points tokids' content. One ridiculous business is a couple of marital videos. What a pathetic competition existed in society showcasing their erotic love on public platforms. This is starting towards kids' content and it's moving continuously.

We already acknowledged the negative effects of overconsumption of adult content through online expansion. We give our consent regarding the detrimental consequence of sharenting but no visible actions are seen such as social awareness. We should encourage parents to utilize and regularly review privacy settings on social media platforms. Ensure posts are shared only with trusted friends and family. We should proceed to advocate for stronger legal protections and policies that address the privacy and safety of children in the digital age.Authority should develop and enforce guidelines for media companies and social platforms to protect children's privacy and handle shared content responsibly. Additionally, by combining education, privacy controls, legal frameworks, and community support, we can help parents navigate the complexities of sharenting responsibly. The goal is to find a balance where parents can share the joys of parenthood while safeguarding their children's privacy and future.

To sum up, Sharenting allows parents to share the pleasures of parenting while also building a helpful online network. However, this must be balanced with respect for privacy and permission. Bangladeshi parents may guarantee that their digital diaries highlight their children's existence while also protecting their future by using ethical sharing techniques.

As we traverse this digital terrain, remember that the tales we tell now affect the world our children will inherit tomorrow.
