Indian goods seized at Bijoynagar 

BIJOYNAGAR, BRAHMANBARIA, Dec 8: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized a huge quantity of Indian smuggled goods in Bijoynagar Upazila of the district early Sunday.

It was known that on information, a team of Sarail Battalion under 25 BGB Cumilla Sector conducted a drive in Chandura Bypass area at around 3:30 am, and seized the Indian goods worth about Tk 1,05,83,820. Sensing the presence of the force, the smugglers managed to flee the scene.   

However, the seized smuggled goods were submitted to Akhaura Custom Office.
