TALTALI, BARGUNA, Dec 8: Police recovered the body of a young man from a paddy filed in Taltali Upazila of the district on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahman, 24, son of Md Awal Shikder of Boro Lobongola area under Burirchar Union in Sadar Upazila of the district. He along with his family members lived at Laupara in Taltali Upazila.
It was known that Abdur Rahman went out of the house at around 7:30 am, but did not return.
Later on, locals spotted his body lying on a paddy field in the area at around 2:30 pm and informed the matter to the police.
Being informed, police recovered the body from the scene and sent it Barguna General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
The inspector of Taltali Police Station confirmed the incident, adding that the law enforcers are investigating the matter and the actual reason behind his death would be known after getting the autopsy report.
