KUSHTIA, Dec 7: The Islamic University (IU), Kushtia chapter of 'Anti-Discrimination Student Movement' on Saturday submitted a memorandum to the Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah.
IU Anti-Discrimination Student Movement coordinator SM Sweet submitted the memorandum on behalf of the students which includes, demand punishment of the accused teachers and students involved in July-August uprising.
The memorandum also demands that any Awami League backed teachers should not take part in any representative's election until cohorts of the fascist Hasina government get punished. They also should not be entrusted upon the responsibility of any key post.
After receiving memorandum, the VC said, 'the demands in the memorandum reflects our demands as well.
I do appreciate that you have pointed these out in the memorandum. The university authority will take all steps to implement the demands. —BSS
