Shamsuddin elected Prez, Mamun Secy

Department of Film and Publication (DFP) Director General Abul Kalam Md. Shamsuddin and Infor-mation and Broadcasting Ministry's Senior Infor-mation Officer Mamun Or Rashid have beenelected president and general secretary of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Information Association.

They were elected in the posts on Saturday at its biannual election held at the Tathya (Information) Bhaban at Kakrail in Dhaka.

After the polling from 10am to 5pm on the day, Chief Election Commissioner of the organization Omor Faruq Dewan announced the result, according to a press release of the organisation.
