Two held with hemp in Khula

Khulna Metropolitan Police arrested two drug peddlers on Saturday from Sachibunia Biswa Road area in the city. 

They also seized 58 kilograms of hemp from their possession, said a KMP press release here this evening.
On secret information, a team of the police went on a drive this noon in the  area under Labonchara Police Station and arrested Oli Gazi, 39, and Md  Swapon, 41, along with the contraband drugs wrapped with sacks while they  were waiting for their clients.

"Police grilled the duo to know about other syndicate members of drug  trading," the KMP release said, adding that the arrested are accused in several drug trading cases filed with different police stations.
