BADC Chairman visits Pabna, Natore and Sirajganj to inspect ongoing activities

Md. Ruhul Amin Khan, Chairman of the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC), visited various BADC activities in Pabna, Natore and Sirajganj recently. 

There is no substitute for good seeds to produce more crops. BADC has been performing the task of providing quality seeds to the farmers since its inception. 
He said this as the chief guest at the programme titled "Grow-out test of Aman rice seeds" held at Tebunia Farm, Pabna, BADC recently, says a press release.  

He emphasized on improving the quality of seeds.

"To ensure that farmers are not subjected to any form of harassment/discrimination in obtaining agricultural inputs", he urged. 

He also inspected the activities of the small irrigation development project of Pabna-Nator-Sirajganj District. At this time he said that any irregularities and negligence in the implementation of the project activities will not be tolerated.

During the inspection, the project director, executive engineer and other related officials were present.
