Woman ‘commits suicide’ at Lalmohan 

LALMOHAN, BHOLA, Dec 7: A housewife reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself over a family dispute in Lalmohan Upazila of the district on Friday evening.

The deceased was identified as Hasina Begum, 40, wife of Md Monir, a resident of Pangashia area under Pashchim Charumed Union in the upazila. She was the mother of four children.

The deceased's brother Md Salauddin said that Hasina's husband lives in Dhaka for work purpose. She lived in her in-law's house and had a dispute with her sister-in-law. Following this, she hanged herself from the ceiling of a room in the house on Friday.
The neighbours rescued her and took to Lalmohan Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared Hasina dead.
