Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) has announced the dates for regional admission tests for the 2025 academic year.

A press release from BKSP confirmed the information on Saturday, stating that the interested candidates must complete the online application process prior to the tests.

The admission tests will be held in Rajshahi on December 21. Other regions are scheduled as follows-- Rangpur on December 18-19, Mymensingh on December 22, Sylhet on December 24, Chattogram on December 26, Khulna on December 28, Barishal on December 29, and Dhaka on December 30-31.

Jannat Rehana Ferdousi, Acting Deputy Director of Rajshahi Regional Training Center, stated that applicants for the Rajshahi region must appear at the center for the test on December 21. The preliminary selection process, covering 21 sports disciplines, will take place from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Candidates from all districts of Rajshahi division can apply for admission in 21 disciplines, including cricket, football, athletics, archery, swimming and diving, karate, kabaddi, boxing, judo, wushu, gymnastics, basketball, tennis, hockey, volleyball, taekwondo, shooting, table tennis, squash, weightlifting, and badminton.

Candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Tk 200 per sport and complete their online application before the specified test dates. A printed copy of the application must be brought to the test venue. Those with exceptional athletic talent may be considered for age, grade, and height waivers.

On the test day, candidates will undergo medical and physical fitness checks, followed by practical tests in their respective sports. Necessary sports gear and appropriate attire should be brought by the candidates. Applicants can select multiple disciplines during registration if desired.

Preliminarily selected candidates will attend a three-to-seven-day training camp, where their performance will determine final eligibility. The camp results will be published on the BKSAP website. Participants must bring two recent passport-sized photos, a birth certificate, and attested copies of academic certificates (PEC, JSC/JDC) when joining the camp.

The camp will include practical tests for respective sports and a written examination based on the curriculum of the class preceding their targeted admission grade. Subjects include Bangla, English, and Mathematics.

Key notes:
1. Candidates can only register for one discipline per admission cycle. Multiple registrations in the same discipline will disqualify the applicant.
2. Those unable to attend their regional test can participate in another center's test.
3. Additional disciplines can be added on-site with payment of the required fee.
4. BKSP reserves the right to modify dates or processes as needed.

For further information, applicants are encouraged to visit the official BKSP website.
