20 bombs recovered in Madaripur

Police have recovered 20 hand bombs from a graveyard at Kalkini upazila in Madaripur district on Friday night.

The bombs were recovered from South Patabari village under Kalkini municipal area in the upazila. 
The information was confirmed by Md. Humayon Kabir, Officer-in-Charge of Kalkini Police Station, on Saturday noon.

He said, "Police were informed by a secret source that 20 hand bombs were in two buckets at Shamdul Haque Bapary's family graveyard in an abandoned condition. After that, police conducted a raid and recovered the bombs."

Such drives will continue in the future to maintain law and order, the OC added.
