Anti-Discrimination Student Movement coordinator and July Shaheed Smrity Foundation's general secretary Sarjis Alam has said deposed prime minister Sheikh Hasina who came from 'Sheikh Family' of Gopalganj district is a "pathological killer."
"Had Sheikh Hasina not been a pathological killer, she would not have killed 2,000 people. If she had any sympathy for a life, she would not have taken so many lives. Sheikh Hasina must be hanged," Sarjis said.
He was speaking at a function organized on Saturday (December 7) to provide financial assistance to the family members of the people who were killed during July Revolution in Chittagong division.
Held at the PTI Auditorium of Ice Factory Road in the port city, the function was organized by July Shaheed Smrity Foundation where each family of 105 martyrs was given a cheque of Tk 5 lakh. At that time, many members of the martyred families had burst into tears.
Sarjis Alam said Sheikh Hasina made the people of Bangladesh hostage for long 16 years. "This killer killed the people of Bangladesh using police force as tissue. But, I want to tell the police force that we still get frightened witnessing your uniforms. Not only the killer Hasina but also your personality is responsible for it. Many police officials indulged in various misdeeds being allured for the posts and power."
The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement coordinator said had the Bangladesh Army wanted, it could have kept Sheikh Hasina on power killing some 5,000 people on August 5. But, they didn't do that. They thought about the dignity of their institution. "You the misguided police officials only thought about your posts and orders of the killer Hasina."
Coordinator Sarjis Alam said the killers are coming back anew. They are writing new stories. "We're ready to lay down our lives taking to the street for the second time against those who want to rehabilitate the killers on the soil of Bangladesh. As we got readied to lay down our lives before August 5, we're again ready to sacrifice our lives for ensuring the trial of the killers and foil all conspiracies. No middleman or flatterer wouldn't have any place in Bangladesh anymore."
