Members of Inquilab Mancha marched towards the Indian High Commission from Gulshan 2 Circle on Friday afternoon. Although obstructed by law enforcement, a three-member delegation was eventually allowed to proceed to the High Commission, where they submitted a memorandum outlining six key demands.

The demands include ensuring the safety and security of Bangladesh's diplomatic missions, officials, their families, and properties. The group also called for the punishment of those responsible for attacking Bangladesh's diplomatic mission in Agartala, insisting on a transparent and credible judicial process.

The memorandum further stresses the importance of preventing future border killings of Bangladeshis by Indian forces and calls for the prosecution of those responsible for previous border killings through fair and transparent investigations.

Inquilab Mancha also demanded an end to the discrimination faced by the indigenous tribal populations of Manipur. They called for the Indian government to seek intervention from the United Nations' Mediation Support Unit (MSU) to address the growing conflicts in the region.

The group raised concerns about widespread discrimination and violence against religious minorities in India, particularly Dalits, Christians, Muslims, and Sikhs, urging the Indian government to take concrete action to stop such violence.

Additionally, the memorandum calls for the protection of religious sites, including churches, mosques, and shrines, with specific attention to the growing threats against the Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Lastly, Inquilab Mancha demanded that the Indian government take visible steps to compensate and rehabilitate victims of religious and ethnic violence, particularly those targeted by Hindutva mobs.

Inquilab Mancha spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi, Member Secretary Fatima Tasnim Jhuma, and Joint-Member Secretary Abdullah Al Jaber represented the delegation at the High Commission.
