BNP Standing Committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain alleged that efforts are being made both internally and externally to incite the peaceful, non-communal people of Bangladesh.

However, he emphasized that Bangladesh's people have not fallen for these provocations. He made these remarks during a gathering of teachers, freedom fighters, and people of other professionals organized by Hakimpur Upazila BNP at Banglahili Pilot High School grounds on Friday morning.
Dr. Zahid criticized those trying to create divisions within the nation, referring to them as "the remnants of fleeing autocrats." Addressing India, he stated, "They think Bangladesh is their subordinate state but the people of this nation have proven their loyalty to independence and sovereignty. We are neighbors and should maintain a relationship based on mutual respect."

He added that there is no animosity with Indian citizens, emphasizing, "We are Bangladeshis and you are Indians. We want to live together as good neighbors, respecting each other's sovereignty."

Dr. Zahid further declared that Bangladeshis do not believe in caste-based discrimination and condemned attempts to provoke or create chaos in the country. He firmly stated that such efforts will fail as the people of Bangladesh will not fall for any instigation.

The event was presided over by Hakimpur Upazila BNP President Ferdous Rahman, with the participation of Dinajpur District BNP President Mofazzal Hossain Dulal, General Secretary Bakhtiar Ahmed Kochi, and other leaders, along with teachers, religious leaders, businesspeople, and journalists.
