One held with contraband items in Dhaka

Police has arrested a drug peddler and seized Yaba tablets and Phensedyl syrup from city's Arambag area on Friday morning.

Media and Public Relations wing of DMP confirmed the matter.

The arrested man is Enam Ahmmad, 50.

The seized items include 1530 pieces of yaba tablets and eight bottles of phensidyle syrup.

A case has been filed in this connection with Motijheel police station under the Narcotics Control Act.
