Raj receives int’l charity award

Muhammad Raj, director of Hafezzi Charitable Society of Bangladesh, a human rights activist has received special charity award from World One Ummah Foundation for his special contribution to the service of humanity in the international arena. 

Ambassador of Bangladesh Embassy in Cairo, Egypt Sabina Naz handed over the charity award to Muhammad Raj at the Abbasiya Burj Al-Tatbikin Conference Hall in Egypt. 

Barrister Hasan Mahmud, an international lawyer from England and other human rights activists were present at the event, according to a press release issued on Thursday.

A six-member delegation of the Hafezzi Charitable Society led by Raj met with the Palestinian Ambassador in Cairo, Diab Allours, as part of the programme on their visit to Egypt. 

In the meeting, they expressed sympathy for the oppressed people of Palestine on behalf of Hafezzi Charitable Society, one of the service organizations of Bangladesh.
