BNP advisor highlights reform pregs in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR, Dec 6: ASM Abdul Halim, Advisor to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and former Cabinet Secretary, reiterated the importance of the party's 31-point reform programmes, announced on July 13, 2023, to rebuild the nation's infrastructure. 
 
Speaking as the chief guest at a grassroots-level discussion meeting in Islampur Upazila, Abdul Halim emphasised that BNP had long recognized the need for reforms across various sectors, including the economy, education, administration, and the constitution. 

He noted that while reform is a continuous process, the initiatives will gain momentum under the next democratic government following the inevitable election.  

The meeting, chaired by District BNP leader Joynal Abedin Sarkar, also featured speeches by District BNP Vice-President Nobi Newaj Khan and Islampur Upazila BNP Vice-President Md Helal Uddin.  

The event aimed to energise party leaders and workers at the grassroots level and reinforce BNP's commitment to implementing reform programmes for the betterment of the country.
