4 killed in Dinajpur bus-truck collision

Four people were killed and several injured in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a paddy-laden truck in Dinajpur's Birganj on Friday.

The accident occurred around 8:30 am at Jadur Mor on the Birganj-Thakurgaon Dash Mile Highway.
However, the identities of the dead could not be known immediately.

Dash Mile Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Omar Faruk confirmed it.

He said, 'A paddy-laden truck and a bus collided head-on at Jadur Mor. The driver of the bus and truck and two bus passengers died on the spot. Several bus passengers were injured at that time. Our rescue operation is underway."
