Kazi Nazrul Islam to be gazetted as 'National Poet' of Bangladesh

The advisory council of the interim government has approved a proposal to publish a gazette officially recognising rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam as the 'National Poet' of Bangladesh.

The approval came from a meeting at the chief advisor's office in Dhaka city's Tejgaon on Thursday (December 5).
