Ridesharing platform, Uber in Bangladesh has served over 7.2 million riders while provided livelihood opportunities for over 350,000 driver-partners as it has completed eight years journey here starting operation in November 2016.
During the journey, Uber Bangladesh has facilitated 16.6 crore trips, reflecting the vibrant and growing community of users of this ridesharing app nationwide, said a press release.
It said Uber Bangladesh has been pivotal in driving economic growth, achieving several key milestones over the past eight years, as 350,000 driver-partners have earned through the platform.
In the 8 years of operation, Uber drivers have travelled over 122 crore kilometers, equivalent to travelling from earth to the moon over 3000 times, it added.
To mark its anniversary, Uber Bangladesh has launched the "Thank You" campaign as a gesture of gratitude.
