Youth hockey team to be accorded reception Thursday

The Bangladesh U-21 youth hockey team will be accorded reception on Thursday for qualifying in FIH Hockey Junior World Cup for the first time, said a press release.

Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) president and Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan will accord reception to the youth hockey team at BAF Falcon Hall at 1PM, after the youth hockey team will return home on Thursday morning from Oman, reports BSS.

Bangladesh set history by qualifying in the junior World Cup after thrashing Thailand by 7-2 goals in a place-deciding encounter of the Junior Asia Cup held on Tuesday last.
