PGCL holds 25th AGM

Pashchimanchal Gas Company Ltd (PGCL), a subsidiary of Petrobangla, held its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Petrocentre, Kawranbazar in the capital recently.  

Petrobangla Chairman Zanendra Nath Sarker and other directors of the company attended the AGM presided over by PGCL Chairman and Energy and Mineral Resources Division Additional Secretary Md Ziaul Huq, says a press release. 

Audited financial statements and audited accounts of the company for fiscal year 2023-24 were approved at the AGM.

In this fiscal year, PGCL sold a total of 1190.244 mmcm of gas in various sectors and made a profit of Tk 185.96 crore before tax. Company has deposited Tk 134.34 crore to the National treasury in the fiscal year.
