Four houses gutted in Ctg

Four dwelling houses were gutted in a fire that broke out at Barumchara village under Anwara upazila in Chittagong early Sunday.

Anwara Fire Service and Civil Defence sources said the fire originated at a house in the aforesaid area around 5 am and soon engulfed the neighbouring houses.
However, the reason behind originating the fire could not be known immediately.

One firefighting unit from Anwara rushed to the spot and brought the flame under control with the help of locals by around 6 am.
