A garment worker has been missing for the last five months.
The missing garment worker is Ronok Hossain, 21, son of the late Iyar Ali, a resident of Arani municipality under Bagha upazila in Rajshahi.
It was learnt that Ronok used to work at Fakira Garment in Narayanganj. On June 10, 2024, Ronok went missing after he left his workplace at around 7:00 PM. Since then, there has been no information about Ronok, although Chanchal Ali, Ronok's elder brother, filed a missing report with the Rupganj Police Station four days after his disappearance.
The mother of the missing boy, Champa Begum, said, "My son was healthy and peaceful. He went to the garment factory after having breakfast. If any kind person finds any trace of him, please call me at this number: 01785084971."
Belayat Hossain, sub-inspector of Rupganj Police Station, said a notification was sent to different police stations asking for information about Ronok.
