Members of Railway Police arrested two women with phensedyl in Dinajpur's Parbatipur.
The arrested were Yamun Bibi, 55, hailed from Patnitala in Naogaon, and Anjuara Begum, 52, of the same area.
They were arrested from Parbatipur Railway Station area on Saturday (November 30) night.
Police said that on a tip-off, Parbatipur Railway Police Station Sub-Inspector Abdur Rouf along with his force conducted a raid in the station area at night. During the raid, the bodies of two women were searched in front of the entrance of platform number 1 of the station and 80 bottles of phensidyl were seized.
Parbatipur Railway Police Station OC Fakhrul Islam confirmed the matter and said the two were sent to jail through the court in the morning.
