Hacked DU website recovered

A part of Dhaka University's main website was restored after several hours on Friday after it went under control of hackers at around 11:00pm on Thursday.

A press release issued by Md Rafiqul Islam, Acting Director of the university's Public Relations Office, said on Friday that after the matter was brought to the attention of the university authorities, the technicians of the DU ICT Cell restored the website.

"It is now protected," said the press release.
