The trend of healthy culture must be continued for reforming the society because unhealthy cultural trends are mainly responsible for the destruction of today's society.

The opinion came on Friday at the Rangpur regional Cultural Leadership Programme-2024 of ‘Desheo Sangskritik Sangsad (DSS)’ held at the Islamic Foundation auditorium in the city.

The Rangpur regional unit of DSS organised the day-long programme with Rangpur region supervisor of the organisation Mohammad Ahidur Rahman in the chair.

Assistant Director of the Rangpur-Dinajpur region of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Advisor of the DSS and ‘Paira Sangskritik Sangsad (PSS)’ Principal Moulana Mamtaz Uddin addressed the event as the chief guest while DSS President AJM Obaidullah attended the programme as the keynote discussant.

Team Member of the Rangpur-Dinajpur region of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chief Advisor of PSS Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal and Rangpur Metropolitan Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chief Patron of PSS Moulana ATM Azam Khan spoke as honorable guests.

Advisor of ‘Teesta Sangskritik Sangsad’ Cultural Association Moulana Enamul Haque, Chief Patron of ‘Dinajpur Sangskritik Sangsad’ Professor Anisur Rahman and artist Sharif Bayezid Mahmud, among others, spoke at the program.

AJM Obaidullah said in his keynote address that to correct any mistake in human life, decisions should be taken in the light of the Holy Quran and Sunnah.

“Examples should be set not only in philosophical words, but also in beautiful words and behavior. Those who are skilled in the work should be given responsibility for that work. Cultural people are sensitive, so their feelings should not be hurt,” he said.

Moulana Mamtaz Uddin stressed on reforming and rectifying the society through maintaining the trend of healthy culture to protect the nation from the trend of unhealthy culture and save the society from destruction.
