Bangladesh face strong Malaysia today

Bangladesh national U-21 hockey team will face strong Malaysia in their third Pool B match of the Men's Hockey Junior Asia Cup scheduled to be held today (Saturday) at Hockey Oman Stadium in Muscat, Oman.

The match will kick off at 16:30 pm Bangladesh time Earlier, Bangladesh made a winning start in the tournament beating Oman by 3-1 goals, but suffered a massive 0-9 goal defeat to Pakistan in their second match.

Bangladesh will play their remaining group match against China on December 1 at the same venue.
The eleventh edition of the Junior Asia Cup will continue till December 4, with ten teams, divided into two groups, are taking part in the meet.

The top six teams will qualify for the next year's Hockey Junior World Cup.    —BSS
