Met office forecasts rain likely over parts of country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) Friday predicted light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over three south and south-eastern divisions in the next 24 hours begins from this morning.

"Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country," said the forecast begins from 9am.
The Deep Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining area moved north-northwestwards over the same area at 06 am Friday, BSS reports.
 
It is likely to move north-northwesterly direction further. Its associated trough extends up to the North Bay.

Night temperature may rise and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 32.4 degree Celsius at Sitakunda and today's minimum temperature 11.3 degree Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.

The sun sets at 05.10pm Friday and rises at 06.23am Saturday in the capital.
