UCB holds workshop for tea workers in Panchagarh

United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) recently organized a workshop for tea cluster entrepreneurs in Panchagarh District. The event aimed to enhance financial literacy and explore growth opportunities within the tea industry.

The workshop was graced by the presence of Nawshad Mustafa, Director, SMESPD of Bangladesh Bank, as the chief guest. Other distinguished attendees included Rezaul Karim Siddique, Agriculture Analyst; Muhammad Nazmul Haque, Additional Director, SMESPD, Bangladesh Bank; S.M. Moinul Hossain, Head of Credit Risk Management (SME & Retail) UCB; and Mohammad Salim Chowdhury, Head of SME & Agri Banking Division, UCB.

The program included a panel discussion, Question & Answer session, and a financial literacy session. The discussions highlighted SME-focused banking services and emphasized UCB's dedication to empowering entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth.
