Income tax fair inaugurated in Rangamati

A two-day income tax fair was inaugurated in Rangamati district on Monday.

Tax Commissioner Md Manjur Alam inaugurated the fair at Rangamati Chamber of Commerce building in the morning.
Joint Tax Commissioner Md. Akherizzaman, Additional Assistant Tax Md. Abdul Motaleb, Rangamati Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Md. Abdul Wadud, and Chamber Director Md. Mansur Obaidullah were present at that time.

Service seekers have been standing in line since morning to submit their income tax returns. The income tax filers are facing the inconvenience of going to Chittagong and Raozan to submit their income tax returns, so they demanded the establishment of a local office of the Income Tax Department in Rangamati town.
