Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football is rolling on Friday with three matches scheduled to be played on the day at three different venues in Dhaka, Gazipur, and Munshiganj.
On the day, Gopibagh's Brothers Union will face Bangladesh Police FC at the Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj at 2:30pm.
Mohammedan Sporting Club will face Dhaka Wanderers Club at the Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur at the same time. On the other hand, Bashundhara Kings will take on Chittagong Abahani at the Bashundhara Kings Arena in Dhaka at 5:30pm.
The League matches will be played on every Friday and Saturday.
The fans will be able to enjoy a Dhaka Derby between Mohammedan Sporting Club and Dhaka Abahani on 14 December, Saturday. The exciting match will be played at the Cumilla District Stadium.
Starting on Friday, the first phase of the League will continue till the 25th of January next year.
Bashundhara Kings is the current and fifth title holder of the League. However, Dhaka Abahani, the traditional sky blue jerseys, is the highest six time champion of the event.
Besides, with participations of ten teams, the Federation Cup is beginning on 3 December. The final of the tournament will be played in May next year. Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) shared the fixtures to media on Sunday.
