Woman killed in Sunamganj road accident

A woman was killed in a collision between a truck and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on the Sylhet-Sunamganj highway in Nilpur area under Sadar upazila in Sunamganj district on Sunday. 

The deceased was identified as Rajia Khatun, 50, a resident of Inamnagar village in Shantiganj upazila in the district.
It was learnt that the accident occurred at around 12:00 noon in the area, leaving Rajia dead on the spot and injuring several others.

The wounded were sent to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital.

Officer-in-charge of Sunamganj Sadar Police Station Nazmul Haque confirmed the matter.
