3 jailed for lifting sand illegally in Sherpur

A mobile court in Sherpur sentenced three people to imprisonment for different terms due to illegal sand lifting on Saturday night. 

The convicted people have been sent to jail on Saturday morning. 
Earlier, a team from the Nalitabari Upazila Administration conducted a raid in Gorokanda area under Nalitabari municipal area at around 11:15pm, based on secret information, and arrested truck driver Shamim Miah and his helper, Dipu Miah. They were each sentenced 15 days of imprisonment.
during the administration conducted a raid in Nizpara area in the upazila. 

Confirming this, Nirbahi Magistrate Masud Rana said that such raids would continue in the future.
