One held with drugs in B'baria

Police arrested a drug peddler along with 18 bottles of Scof drug at Bijoynagar upazila in Brahmanbaria district on Thursday night.

The arrested man is Ridoy Islam, 21.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid Kashinagar area under Singarbari union in the upazila and arrested Ridoy with the drugs, said Rowsan Ali, officer-in-charge of Bijoynagar Police Station.

A case has been filed in this regard with the police station under the Narcotics Control Act, the OC added.
