Minor drowns at Lalmohan 

LALMOHAN, BHOLA, Nov 19: A three-and-a-half-year-old minor girl drowned in a pond in Lalmohan Upazila of the district on Friday noon.

The deceased was identified as Anaita, daughter of Md Mizanur Rahman, a resident of Ward No. 5 Gazaria area under Pashchim Char Umed Union in the upazila.

It was known that Anaita was playing on the house yard at noon. At one stage, she fell in a pond next to the house while her family members were unaware of it. 
Sensing the matter, the family members rescued her and took hear to Lalmohan Health Complex, where the doctor declared the child dead.
