3 Jubo League men arrested from swift procession in Jashore

Three Jubo League workers have been arrested while bringing out a swift procession in Jashore.

They were arrested from Kanaitola area in Ramnagar union under Sadar upazila on Monday (November 16) evening.
They were produced before court on Tuesday (November 19) afternoon.

Jashore Kotwali Police Station's officer-in-charge (OC) Abdur Razzaque said a swift procession led by Jubo League worker Rana Hossain was brought out from Saleha Metal on Jashore-Monirampur highway at Ramnagar Kanaitola area under Sadar upazila on Monday evening in protest against "detaining Awami League leaders and workers and launching repression on them across the country."

During the procession, local BNP leaders and workers chased the Jubo League leaders and workers and subsequently caught three of them. Later, they were handed over to Jashore Kotwali Model Police Station's custody.

The OC said three detained Jubo League workers were shown arrested in a case related to burning the District BNP office. They were produced at the court on Tuesday afternoon.
