Man attempts suicide after 'slaughtering 2 sons' at Pallabi

A man attempted to commit suicide by slaughtering himself after killing his seven-year-old and three-year-old sons at Pallabi in the capital on Saturday.

Police rescued killer father Md Ahad and took to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Pallabi Police Station SI Md Mazedul said that after getting information in the morning that a man tried to take his own life after slaughtering his two minor sons at his house at Pallabi's Baigartek, a team of police went to the scene. "We found there the bodies of two children and injured father. Then police took the man to the hospital."

"Primarily suspected that the man might have killed his two with sons with sharp weapon. And then tried to kill himself by slaughtering himself, SI Mazedul added.
