World Diabetes Day observed in Joypurhat

The World Diabetes Day 2024 was observed in Joypurhat on Thursday with the theme of “Diabetes: Our Commitment to Good Health”.

Joypurhat Diabetic Association organizes various awareness programs on the occasion of the day celebration. Programs include free diabetes testing, distribution of awareness leaflets, rally and discussion.
Acting President of Joypurhat Diabetic Hospital Dr Saudagar Mizanur Rahman presided over the discussion. General Secretary of Diabetic Association Belayet Hossain Lebu, Dr. Moazzem Hossain, Dr. Mamun Isahak, Dr. Fatema Tuz Zahora, Advocate MA Hai spoke about diabetes awareness in the event conducted by Joint General Secretary of Joypurhat Diabetic Association K M Abdur Rahman Roni

Earlier, a procession was brought out from the building of Joypurhat Diabetic Association which paraded the streets of the town and ended at the premises of the diabetic hospital.
