Haji Salim's son Solaiman Salim arrested

Former Awami League lawmaker from Dhaka-7 constituency Solaiman Salim, son of Haji Salim, was arrested from Gulshan area in the capital early Thursday.

A team from Chawkbazar Police Station arrested him from a house of Gulshan. 

The police station OC Rezaul Hossain confirmed this to media around 1:30AM.

On secret information, a police force arrested Solaiman Salim at 1:15AM in a murder case, he added.

Solaiman Salim went into hiding to avert arrest after the fall of Sheikh Hasina government on August 5.

Haji Salim was arrested on September 1 from old Dhaka's Bangshal area.
