3 Rohingyas held with firearms in Ukhiya

Armed Police Battalion (APBn) in a raid arrested three Rohingyas along with foreign weapons and ammunition at Ukhiya Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar. 

The raid was conducted in the early hours of Wednesday around 2 AM in front of a learning center in Block H/5 of Camp-9 in Palongkhali Union.

APBn Acting Commander, Superintendent of Police Khondkar Fazle Rabbi, confirmed the incident. 

The operation was led by Camp Commander Assistant Superintendent of Police Rajan Kumar Das, with Inspectors Md. Mizanur Rahman and Subrata Goldar, along with accompanying forces.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Md. Aziz, 22, a resident of Block-C/2 of Camp-9; Iqbal Hossain, 25, and Mohammad Enam, 19.

APBn officials have handed over the detained militants and the recovered weapons to Ukhiya Police Station for further legal proceedings.
