'Killer' Rony held for attacking students during movement in Rajshahi

An alleged terrorist Bappy Chowdhury alias killer Rony was arrested in the capital for attacking and shooting students during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Rajshahi city.
 
On a tip-off, members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Rony from Bashundhara residential area last night, RAB sources said on Wednesday.
 
He was accused of attacking and shooting students during the anti-discrimination student movement in Alupatty area on August 5 in the city, where two students were killed and many others injured.
Rony, a resident of Biharipara area in the city, is the president of Ward No. 4 of Juba League.

RAB sources said they arrested Rony after using information and communication technologies.
