NBR supports taxpayers to submit VAT returns online

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has been supporting the valued taxpayers to submit their VAT returns through online in a bid to avoid hassles.

The NBR in a press release today said that submitting VAT returns online is very easy as information through submission of VAT returns through papers can remain out of the preservation of the VAT online system or outside of the preservation of the VAT payers which can create complexities in future, BSS reports.
Under the circumstances, the NBR is suggesting VAT payers to submit their returns through online.

The NBR release said the esteemed VAT payers are receiving necessary assistance while submitting their returns at all VAT Commissionerates, divisional offices and circle offices.

Through submitting VAT returns online, the NBR hoped that the VAT payers would supplement the government's efforts in building a modern and automated VAT system.
