Seven more deaths were reported from dengue in the past 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
With this, the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease in Bangladesh rose to 367 this year.
Of the deaths, three were reported in the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), and one each in the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), Dhaka division, Barishal division, and Chattogram division.
In a 24-hour span, 1,211 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of them, 221 were admitted to hospitals under the DNCC, while 190 under the DSCC.
A total of 74,800 dengue cases have been reported since 1 January.
Last year, 1,705 people lost their lives due to dengue, making it the deadliest year on record.
The DGHS recorded 3,21,179 cases and 3,18,749 recoveries in 2023.
