Five more dengue patients died and 1,194 more people admitted to the hospitals across the country with the viral disease during the last 24 hours till Monday morning.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), with the latest casualties, the death toll from the mosquito-borne disease reached to 360 this year.
Of them, two died in Dhaka South City Corporation, two in Barishal division (Excluding city corporation) and one in Mymensingh division (Excluding city corporation).
The DGHS data said on the infected people, 260 were admitted to the hospitals in Dhaka division (Excluding city corporation), 279 in DNCC, 148 in DSCC, 145 in Chattogram division( Excluding city corporation), 140 in Khulna division.
A total of 73,587 people have been infected with the viral disease from January 1 to till November 10.
Among them 1,190 were released from hospital during the 24 hours period and 68, 832 till November 10.
It may be mentioned that 1,705 people died from dengue in the country last year, while 3,21,179 people were infected by the mosquito-borne disease.
